Shane Cooper JD ‘03 is the Senior Associate Dean for Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Services at Cornell Law School. In this role, he leads recruitment efforts and supports student retention, while also overseeing counseling and student case management. Previously, Shane served as Associate Dean for Administration and Enrollment at the University of New Hampshire School of Law. A Navy veteran with 26 years of service, Shane’s roles included submarine officer, Navy judge advocate, and legal advisor in Iraq. He holds a JD from Cornell Law and an LLM from Columbia Law School. Shane is actively involved in various volunteer leadership roles, including as President of Veterans Legal Justice New Hampshire and a member of the Law School Admissions Council’s Pipeline Initiatives Working Group.
